LABAN NYAKWEBA OGARO

We regret to announce the passing on of Laban Nyakweba Ogaro, after a long battle valiantly fought with Alzheimer’s disease.

Son of the late Ogaro Nyantabiga & the late Mama Nyakomunsi. Brother to Ogaro, Nyarwoti, Ongeri, Queen
and the late Moraa Guto, the late Moraa and the late Ntabo.

Father to Henry Nyabuto (Britam), Edward Kimang’a (Ex — H.Young), Paul Nyamiaka (Home Africa), Joyce Kwamboka, Charles Ngwono, Samuel Monyeka, Mercy Kemunto, Ezekiel Ontita (Home Africa), Livingstone Mose (KPLC, Kisii) and Mary Moraa (QuickMart, Nairobi).

Father-in-law to Abigail, Concepter, Joyce, Mercy, Lilian, Lorna, Lydia, jomo, Onkanga and Josphat. Grandfather to Jeniffer (UoN), Lilian (Lebanon), Sababu (TSC), Solomon (Kisii School), Ombongi, Elvis, Edwin, Maryanne, Dolphine, Glorious, among others.

In-law to Charles Omwenga, the late Otiso, the late Naftal, the late Onchomba, the late Manyansi Guto and the late Ombasa.

Cousin to Nyaringo, Onyancha, Ariba, Miyoge and the late Nyangewso and Ontobo.

Korera to On’guko, Mochochi, Nyangiya, the late Mary, the late Nyabuto and the late Haron Kiboi, Ogwankwa, Ongige, Oguta and Maranga.

Meetings are going on at Aga Khan Walk – Pronto Hotel, every evening in Nairobi and at his home in Kisii and finals for fund-raising will be held on 31/01/2023.

The cortege leaves Christa Marrianne Hospital – Kisii on Thursday 02J02/2023 to his home in Iranya Village, Turwa Sub-location, Kisii County and he will be laid to rest on Friday on 03/02/2023.
