LUCIE WANJIKU MUCHEKEHU

It is with profound grief and sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved Lucie Wanjiku Muchekehu, on the 12th of November 2022 after an illness bravely borne. Lucie worked for World Bank in Nairobi, Kenya for many years.

A loving daughter to the late Laban Njenga Mundia and the late Esther Njeri Njenga.

A dear mother to Jonathan Kamau Muchekehu, Njenga David Muchekehu and Caroline Muchekehu, the late Sisi Muchekehu, Ruth Wanjiku Muchekehu-Lavery. Mother-in-law to Amber Slingerland.

Sister to Josephine Nduta Njenga, Sophie Kabura Njenga, the late Andrew Nyoro Njenga, Bancy Gathoni Njenga, Derrick Kariuki Njenga, Alvin Kamande Njenga, the late Stephen Gakumo Njenga and the late Owen Ngige Njenga.

Sister-in-law to Judith Wanjiru Njenga, Susan Wachuka Kariuki, Jane Wanjiku Gakumo and Else Kamande Njenga. She had a large loving family of cousins, an aunt to many nieces and nephews, a grandmother to 6, and great-grandmother to 2.

A Memorial Service will be announced at a later date.
