LUCY WARUGURU KANGORI

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of Mrs LucyWaruguru Kangori, which occurred on Monday, 18th July 2022.

Daughter of the late Philip Weru and the late Elizabeth Wangui. Loving wife to Mr Paul Kangori. Mother to Irene Nyambugi, Samuel Gachanja, Julia Wangui and Angela Waceke. Mother-in-law to Nick Korir and Ann Wangari. Grandmother to Dan Korir, Don Korir and Joan Wangari. Great-grandmother to Samuel Kariuki, Rakeem Junior, Ese Wangari.

Sister to the late Wangari Weru, the late Joseph Mwangi, the late Peter Githaiga, the late Francis Kiongo, the late Gachambi Weru, and Anastacia Wairimu Mbugua and Auntie to many nieces and nephews.

Sister-in-law to Rose Githaiga, Phoebe Kiongo, the late Ann Mwangi, John K. Mbugua, the late Josiah Wanjohi, Levi Gachanja, the late Apuphia Waceke, the late Latima Ruguaru, Mary Wanjiru Muthui and Ben Ngumba.

Funeral arrangements are currently taking place at her home in Kahawa Sukari.

There will be a memorial service held at St Peter’s ACK Church in Kahawa Sukari at 2.00pm on the 24th July, 2022.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Funeral Home – Thika Road, on 26th July, 2022. Burial will take place on the same day at her home in Njumbi, Nyakianga, Muranga County.
