Son of the late Lazarus Muneene Ngila and the late Maria Kiia. Step son of the late Ruth Ndila and the late Mary Kathikwa.

Husband of the late Esther Mukulu (Nguna), Rose Nyoroka and Alice Saivu. Father of the late SP Alfred Nzau Kimeu, Ezekiel Kieti Kimeu (Formerly of Marshalls), Martha Kalekye (Mbusyani Pri Sch), Rose Mbulwa, Ben All Kimeu (Horn Media), Maria Ndila (Machakos County), Lazarus Muneene Kimeu (Parklands Police station), Colleta Kitheu, Antony Mutuku (OLA Westlands Petrol Station), James Muthama Kimeu (Vivo Energy) and Martha Mbulwa (Tulia Police Post).

Father-in-law of Beatrice Nzau (Gataara Pri Sch), Priscilla Kieti (Kyevaluki Pri Sch), Joseph Wambua (Kamuli Police Station), Antony Lisero (Businessman), Maryam Ali (Embassy), Joshua Mukolo, Christine Muneene (Muthei Pri Sch), Elijah Musee, Roselynne Muthama (Ruai Girls Sec Sch) and Eric Mukola (Businessman). Brother of the late James Muthama Muneene, the late Mwalimu Kiilu Muneene. the late Isaac Kitonyi Muneene, the late Tabitha ndungwa, the late Obed Kitheka Muneene, the late John Ndambuki Muneene, the late Martha Mbulwa and Samuel Katumo Muneene (Rtd. Ed officer Matungulu). Uncle of many.

The funeral planning meetings are taking place at his homes in Kawethei, Kimbo, Kwavonza and City square Nairobi up to Wednesday 18/3/2020 excluding weekend.

He will be laid to rest on Thursday 19th March 2020 at Kwavonza, Kitui county.
