It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of Lydia Karwirwa Muketha.

Daughter of the late Mr. Samuel Muketha and the late Maritha Gatitu Muketha. Identical twin sister of Naomi Kaguri, Marion, the late Kimaita, the late Alice, Monica,Ann, Kabiti, the late Kiringo, Karambu, Kananu, Murithi, Karuru, the late Ballad, the late Koome, Ntibuka, Kathure, the late Kathuka, Murugu, the late Kaamba, the late Karimi, Solomon and Bartholomew.

Doting mother of John Mutembei and Ken Muriuki of Mbogo & Muriuki Advocates. Mother-in-law of Fridah Karani. Grandmother of Melody, Ruby, Kajuju, Karani and the late Victoria Kajuju. Great-grandmother of Tony Murithi and Travis Mutembei. Lydia was an in-law of Mr and Mrs. Eliud Karani.

Friends and family are meeting daily at their ancestral home in Gikumene, her residence in Ruiri and Meru Slopes Hotel, from 5.00pm daily for prayers and funeral arrangements.

The cortege leaves Meru Funeral Home on Friday 7th May, 2021 at 9:00am, for a funeral service and burial at her Ruiri home.

Mum, we thank almighty God for your life and the time we had together. We love you and we will miss you. Rest in peace till we meet again. Amen!
