MAGDALENE WANJIRU MUKUI

It is with deep sorrow and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the demise of Matriarch Magdalene Wanjiru Mukui of Karatu village, Ndarugu, Gatundu South.

Daughter of the late Ng’ang’a Kanyinyi and the late Hannah Kabura of Mutunguru.

Wife to the late Joel Mukui Kiarie of Mururia. Mother to Francis Kiarie, Mary Wangui, Josephine Kabura, Margaret Wambui, Milka Wanjiku, Monica Njeri, Hellen Mukui and John Ng’ang’a. Mother in love to Dr. Kennedy Kihara, Peter Kuria, Patrick Ndinika, Shadrack Kioko, and Mary Njeri. Grandmother to many and great grandmother to several.

Cortege leaves Kenyatta University Referral Hospital Mortuary along Northern By-pass on Thursday 1st December 2022, at 7.00am followed by a memorial service at St Joseph Catholic Church, Mutunguru and later interment at her Mururia home.

Family and friends are meeting at St Paul’s University Chapel daily at 5.30pm for prayers and burial arrangements until Wednesday.
