It is with humble acceptance of Gods will that we announce the passing on of Mama Jane Okwayo Otin, on Thursday 10th November, 2022 at Oasis Hospital – Siaya.

Daughter of the late Joanes Ooko Okoth and Philister Okello Nyar Okwayo of Ukwala.

Adorable and loving wife to the late Senior Chief John Otin Amoth (H.S.C). Co-wife to the late Anna Otin, late Rosebella Otin and late Rose Otin. Loving mother to the late Callysto Otin, Jane Otin, Everlyne Otin, Omondi Otin (Department of Immigration Nyayo House), Philip Otin, Stephen Otin, the late Risper Otin, Frederick Otin and David Otin.

Sister to the late Anastasia Aoko, the late Michael Oduor Ooko, Anna Anyango, Owino Ooko, amongst others.

Step-mother to the late James Otin, Basil Otin, Jacquline Otin, Kevin Otin, Linet Otin, Leonard Otin, amongst others.

Sister-in-law to the late DC. George Owira, the late Edwin Amoth, Dr. Dancun Amoth, Dr. Patrick Amoth, Joachim Amoth, Rebman Amoth, Governor Rasanga Amoth, George Amoth, Vincent Amoth, Ann Agung, Martina Amoth, Joan Otare, the late Margaret Owira, Easter Omwanda Josephine Rimba And Janet Owira, amongst others.

Aunty to Jenipher Aloth, Fr Raphael Otieno, John Oduor, Fr Joseph Oduor, Kevin Owira, Susan Achieng, Pamela Otieno, Nicholas Ongor, Caro Owira, Ashley Wango, Oscar Owira, Noel Owira, George Owira, Hillary Owira, Jacky Owira, amongst others. Grandmother to many and great-grandmother.

There will be a fundraising on Thursday 17th November, 2022 at All Saints Cathedral, starting from 5.00pm.

The cortege leaves Same Day Class Mate Mortuary – Sega, on Friday 25th November, 2022 for a requiem mass at St. Paul Mbaga Parish Catholic Church. Burial will be on Saturday 26th November, 2022 at Kamoth home, Segere Village Central Alego Location, Siaya County.
