MAMA MILDRED JESICA OBISA OSOK

It is with our deepest sorrow that we announce the death of our beloved Mama Mildred Jesica Obisa Osok, who was promoted to Glory on 10th October, 2021, after a spirited fight with pulmonary embolism and congestive heart failure.

She was a life companion and loving wife to Mzee Joshua Nashon Osok of Kisumo Karateng’, Nyawita village, Maseno division of Kisumu. She was the daughter of the late Joram Osiyo Oyugi and the late Truphosa Orwa Osiyo of Asembo Kamenya Nyagoko, Olwande Village. Loving mother to the late Emily Akinyi, the late Philip Wasuna, Roselyne Adhiambo of Rabuor, Grace Osok of Sweden, the late Irene Ericksson, Slessor Osok of Nakuru, Jackline Amundsen of Norway, Linda Osok of Sweden and Lydia Hoyland of Norway.

Doting grandmother to Felix Osok, Eugene Wasunna,Antony Simbovo, Benyle Obisa, Brian Wasunna,Amos Wasunna, Brian Odhiambo, Samuel Opinya, Reagan Ericksson, Carl Kristian, Mitchelle Millie, Sarah Isabella, Steven, David, Milly Sandra, Adrian, Bret Sanya, Ryan Osok, Joy Sonia, Anders Amundsen and Glenn Amundsen. Great grandmother to Evian Svedberg Osok, Julian Svedberg Obisa, Ryan Philip Odiwuor and Tiffany Rose Odiwuor.

Mother-in-law to Rosemary Wasunna, Rogers Opinya, Eriksson Svante, the late Tom Wandera, Terje Amundsen, Jan Kristensen, Kristina Svedberg and Anders Hoyland.

Family and friends are meeting at Mama Mildred & Mzee Osok’s Nyawita home daily for funeral arrangements.

The cortege leaves Avenue Hospital Mortuary in Kisumu on 23rd October, 2021, for funeral service and burial at the Osok family’s Nyawita Home.
