MAMA REVEREND ALICE OKOKO EKHALIE

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of Mama Rev. Alice Okoko Ekhalie of Church of God In East Africa which occurred on Saturday 6th February, 2021 after a long illness.

Loving wife to the late Overseer Rev. Javan Ekhalie. Loving mother to the late Benjamin Onunga and Queen Onunga, the late John Okata and Mary Okata, Rev. Beverlin Ambetsa and the late Rev. Livingstone N. Ambetsa, the late Frank Okwayo (Abiola) and Betty Okwayo, Alice Okwayo and Merrab Okwayo, the late Patrick Omuka and the late Everlyn Omuka, Susan Amule and the late Goodrick Amule, the late Japheth Bulali and Selina Bulali, Abysacki Muliro and Samson A. Muliro, Richard Ekhalie and Regina Ekhalie, the late Hezron Okwayo and Terry Okwayo, and Ruth Ambasa Sherry. Loving grandmother and great grandmother to many.

She was born in 1929 to the late Lisero Indala and the late Mama Deborah Chuma of Itumbu Village, Luanda Constituency, Vihiga County. Sister to the late Rosemary, Mouwa, Floridah and Aston Okusi.

The funeral service and burial ceremony will be held at her matrimonial home at Ebusikhale Mulwakhi village, Luanda constituency, Vihiga County on Saturday, 20th February, 2021 from 8.00am.
