Molly Wanjiku Mbogo

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Molly Wanjiku Mbogo that occurred on 5th March 2020.

Daughter of the late Naman Gatero Muthui and the late Elizabeth Wanjiru Gatero. Beloved wife of Ibrahim Mbogo Kanyuira. Daughter-in-law of the late Ruth Wangari Kanyuira. Mother of Cecilia Njeri (Nyeri), Anne Warukira (Nyahururu), Gladys Wangui (Nyahururu), Peter Mwangi (Molo), David Gatero (Nyeri), late John Kahara (Nyeri), Joseph Muthui (Nyeri) Stephen Gichuki (Nyeri) and Joyce Wambui (Judiciary- Karatina).

Sister of George Muthui, Akithi Wangui, Jane Wambui, Wamaitha Kamuyu and Kabia. Sister In law of the late Wanjiku Kamwaro, the Late John Kahara, the late Rebecca Wambui Githinji, Everlyn Wangechi Ngambi and George Wambugu. Mother-in-law of Nyambura Mwangi, Wangui Gatero, Wambui Kahara, Wangui Muthui, Wanjiru Gichuki, the late Gathere Mwangi, Wagura and Kabui Mwema. Grandmother and great grandmother of many.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at her Gitero Village home starting at 3.00pm and at Ibis Hotel Nyeri starting at 5.00pm for prayers and funeral
arrangements.

The cortege leaves Consolata Mathari Hospital Mortuary, Nyeri on 12th March 2020 at 9.00 am for funeral service to be held at Gitero A.I.P.C.A Church and
burial thereafter at her home next to Gitathiini Primary school, Gitero Village, Nyeri Central Sub County, Nyeri County.
