Death and Funeral Announcement of Moses Mwongera M’Tuamwari

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the promotion to glory of Moses Mwongera M’Tuamwari of Kibirichia, Meru County at The Aga Khan University Hospital, Nairobi on 14th March 2020.

Son of the late Mzee Benson M’Tuamwari and the late Julia Muthoni. Son-in-law of the late Jediel Nkanata Kibua and the late Rael Karegi. He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Charity Wanja Mwongera and their dear children Gatwiri Mwongera and Nicholas Gitobu, Gacheri Mwongera, Benson Maingi and Gakii Mwongera. Doting grandfather of Patience Nkatha Gitobu and Karen Nkirote Maingi. Brother of Bishop Samson Muthamia and Harriet Karimi, the late Jonah M’Ringeera and Charity Woru, Japhet Gichuru, Ruth Regeria and Priscilla Nkirote, Daniel Mugambi and Jane Kalingu, Martha Muthoni, Monicah Kajuju and the late Joseph Kinyua Ngeera, the late Eunice Wanja and the late Daniel Muchera, Eunice and the late Samson Mwongera,Winnie and Peter Kiruki, the late Gideon Kimathi and Josephine, Ephantus and Isabella Kirimi, Loise and Mbichi Mboroki, Isaac and Susan Kimaita. Cherished uncle by many.

Relatives and friends are meeting at St. Andrew’s PCEA Church, Nairobi from 6pm – 8pm and at his home in Kibirichia, Meru.

The cortege leaves Lee Funeral Home at 5am on Friday 20th March 2020. Funeral service will be held at Kienine Methodist Church on the same day and thereafter his body laid to rest at his Kamarai home, Kibirichia, Meru County.

You served God and man with diligence and grace daddy, may the Lord shelter you until we meet again.
