MWALIMU JAMES MURIITHI KARANJA

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Mwalimu James Muriithi Karanja of Kianjau Village, Kahiga Sub Location, Ruguru, Mathira West, Nyeri County.

Son of the late Samuel Karanja and Wangechi Karanja. Husband of the late Esther Nyawira Muriithi. 

Father of Ann Wangechi and the late Lawrence Mwangi, Charles Wamugunda and Mary Karuana, Lucy Wamaitha and Michael Mwangi, Edward Muriuki, Pst.Rose Ngacha and Rev.Peter Ngacha, Michael Kinyua and Monica Muthoni, Wilfred Wanjau and Alice Wandia, and Susan Wairimu Muriithi.

Brother of John Muraguri, Rose Wahu Mbuthia, Douglas Wahome, Alexander Mwangi, Eunice Wambura, Wangechi Karanja, Ephraim Gathua and Stephen Warutere.

Son in law of the late Herodian Muriuki Kiauri and Isabella Wamaitha. 

Father in law of the late Lawrence Mwangi Rubua, Michael Mwangi Gatheru Peter Ngacha Maina, Mary Karuana, Monica Muthoni and Alice Wandia.

Grandfather of Judy Muthoni, Allan Muriithi, Gideon Muriithi, Robert Muriithi, Isaak Maina among others. Great Grandfather to many.

Family and friends are meeting daily at his home for prayers and burial arrangements starting 4.00 pm.

The cortege leaves Jamii Hospital Mortuary Karatina on Thursday, 28 November 2024 at 8.00 am.
