MZEE ALBERT OTHIENO AGORO

It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing on of our beloved father and patriarch, Mzee Albert Othieno Agoro, former Councilor; Marachi WestWard, on 28th November 2021 at the Nairobi Hospital.

He was the son of the late Agoro Obuya and Mama Ongoma Ooro of Bujumba Village, Butula Sub-County, Busia County. He was the husband to: the late Peris Otieno, the late Beldina Khaaba, Serpentia Adipo and Mary Gorretty K. Otieno. Loving father to: the late Zablon, the late Fredrick, John, Alice, Boniface, Gibson, Pancras, the late Ouma, the late Ochieng, the late Kadogo, Elizabeth, Ezekiel, Bathlet, Dr. Janerose Omondi, Rachel, Edgar, the late Judy, Pamela, Phoebe, Mercy, Dr. Emma Otieno, Mediatrix, Fred, Jerry, Ian and Hellen.

Father in-law to: Hezekiah Ambiyo, Judith Khavesa, Mwajuma Rajab, Judith Otieno, Patrick Makokite, Caroline Inzoberi, Silas Oduma, James Ambuso, John Kirianki, Paula Ng’ang’a, Francis Musengeli and Anne Omala. Brother to the late: Okinyo, Eseri, Tabisa and Ongajo. Son in-law to the late: Barnabas Musumba and Sarah Namuhi of Bukhayo, Lemuel Olonga and Phoebe Owando of Bumagunda, Onyango and Christina Obwar of Butula, Pascal and Magdalene Kwena of Bukhwaku.

Grandfather, great grandfather and uncle to many.

There will be a requiem service at the All Saints Cathedral on Thursday, 9th December 2021 at 10.00 am.

The cortege will leave Montezuma Monalisa Funeral Home, Nairobi on Saturday, 11th December 2021, followed by burial at his Bujumba home on Monday, 13th December 2021   starting at 8.30 am.
