MZEE BENEDETTO M’ TARAMBA

 (1932 -2021)

Mzee Benedicto M’Taramba was called to glory on 22/10/21 while undergoing treatment at Kiiria Mission Hospital.

He was the first born child of late M’Iterekua M’Ildnyira and late mama Maria Kathambi, and an ever present brother of Salome Mbogori, Makena Muketha, Archangel Kithinji, Genaro Mutua and Joyce Zakayo.

Taramba was the beloved husband of late Veronicah Nchekei and a committed father of Angelina and late Kathenya, Francisca (Murphy Chemicals), Philipina and Muthamia, Riberata and Kinyua, Vingilio and Wanjiru (Nairobi), Serafino Kirema (Principal Gachanka Day Sec School) and Kinya (Nkabune Girls), Paskwarina and Kithure, Makandi and Kirimi, Justina and Muchuncha, and Rosebeth and Gituma.

He was brother in law of mzee Kiengo (Parapet), M’Mbogori (Kigwii) among many others. He had 33 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, several cousins, nephews and nieces.

Friends and family are meeting daily for prayers and funeral arrangements at his home in Abwegiri village -Nkabune and Camflames Hotel Gitimbine Meru County from 5:00p.m.

Cortege leaves Kiiria Mission Funeral Home on Friday 29/10/21 at 8.00am. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at HFN Nkabune Catholic Church from 10.00am followed by the final burial rites at his home in Abwegiri Village.

We shall dearly miss you baba, juju o nyama and kiujuju, uncle!
