MZEE HARON MUIA KISILU

1919 – 2022

It is with profound sorrow and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the demise of Mzee Haron Muia Kisilu that occurred on 29th April 2022 at Nairobi Women’s Hospital after a short illness.

He was son to the late Kisilu Mutua and the late Rahab Mukenyi.

Husband to the late Esther Nduku and the late Anna Nduku.

Brother to the late Joshua Mwonga, the late Stephen Kisilu, the late Samuel Muthama, the late Samson Musyoka, Donald Mutua, the late Isabella, Luisa, Margaret Makenzi, Rose Malandi and Gladys Muthengi.

Brother-in-law to the late Pheobe Mwonga and the late Koki Mwonga, the late Tabitha Musyimi, the late Luisa Muthama,Alice Musyoka, Priscilla Muoki, Mbithi, the late Malamu and Michael Nzuki.

Loving Father to Monica Mwikya, Shadrack Kisilu, Peninah Syomwana, Alice Mutile, Anna Katuku, Zipporah Nzisa and Sam Ndambuki.

Loving Father In-law to Joshua Mwikya, Agnes Kisilu, Dominic Kikuyu, the late Dr. Saleh and Joseph Mutua. Uncle to Jeremiah Kisilu, Hon. Mutava Musyimi, Andrew Mwonga, Peterson Mutuku, Rahab Muiu, Nelly Ndivo, Mannase Musyoka, Samuel Kisilu, Esther Wanza, among others. Adoring Grandfather to Kennedy, Stella and Serge, Anthony, Esther, Haron, Bancy, Monica, Peninah, Mumbe, Richard, Kelvin, Mwathe, Bryan, King, Razia, Faiz, Alvan.

He had 11 great grandchildren. There will be a fundraising on 9/5/2022 at his Daughter’s home in Lavington from 7.00pm for both physical and online participation.

The cortege leaves Montezuma funeral home on 14th May 2022 at 6am for the funeral and burial rites in his home in Riakanau village, Embu County, from 10.00am.
