It is with acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Mzee John Muturi Gachoya of Kiamuyi, Nakuru.

Husband to the late Esther Wangui Muturi and Mary Wangari Muturi. Son of late Gachoya Tanu and Wakiuru (Wakonyu) Gachoya. Brother to the late Gladys Nioki Gachoya, the late VVambugu Gachoya. Gathoni Kimotho, Wahito Muiga, the late Wambura Muhihio, Wachira Gachoya and the Late Nguha Gachoya.

Father to Julius Maina, Joseph Macharia, Dashon King’uru, Rahab Gitonga of USA, Florence Njoki, Jerioth Ndirangu of USA, Hellen Wachuka and Grace Wanjiru. Father-in-law to Bishop GG Gitahi of USA, Rev. Gideon Robi of USA, Charles Kabuthia, Mary Wambui King’uru and Milka Wamaitha.

Grandfather to Esther Muturi, Catherine Wangechi of USA, Michael Gitonga of USA, Jeremiah Ndirangu of USA, Jonathan Ndirangu of USA,Winnie Wangui, Purity King’uru, Esther Maina, Valentine King’uru, Jonathan Muturi, Bevelyn Wakiru, Bill John Maina, Winnie Wangui Macharia, jerioth King’uru and Joyce King’uru. Great-grandfather to Aiden Mburu, Arsen Njau and Andy Bethwel Munyui.

The cortege will leave Umash Funeral Home – Nakuru on Wednesday 25th May, 2022 at 7:30am For the funeral service at PCEA – Mwangaza at 10.00am followed by burial at his Nakuru home in Kiamunyi on the same day.
