It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that the Oyugi family announce the death of Mzee Josiah Oyugi Oigo of Kanyango Village, Kowidi Location, Kasipul Division, Homabay County that occurred on Wednesday 19/01/2022.

He was the son of late Mzee Elijah Oigo and Mama Dinnah Ochako. Husband to the late Hellen Adhiambo Oyugi. Father to late Janet, the late Pamela, Gordon, Emily, Zeph, the late Absalom, Violet, the late Tom, the late Onyango, Alice, Julie, Sheilla, Winnie and Elly. Father-in-law to late Jacob, Lizzy, Christine, Irene, Konzolo, Haddow, Hossle

Grand Father to Adhyambo, Noah, Mogallo, Collins, Zennah, Audrey, Akinyi, Mzee, Vo, Rolland, Henry, Ryan, Tevez, Hellen, Adhiambo, Hawi, Bob, Hilda, Talia. He left 10 great grandchildren.

Brother to Enock, Meshack, Gerison, Omiti, Eunice, Phoebe, Kerina, Priscah {all late} and Rhoda. Brother-in-law to Absalom, Ambassador Okeyo, Ogwanjo, Esther, Meshack, Grace, John Oyoko(All late) and Eliud Nduma Son-in-Law to the late Mama Pla and Zephania Owuor.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at his home in Kanyango village, and virtual meetings/WhatsApp groups have been setup for funeral arrangements.

The burial date will be communicated later.
