Son to the late Mzee Philemona and Hurida Ongalo. Husband to Rev. Felistus Ongalo. Father to the late Joy, the late Benson, Rose, the late Irene, David, the late Aston, Peruce and Betty. Grandfather to Nashon, Jacquiline, Julius, Brooks, Agnes, Sharobeth and others. Great grandfather to many. Son-in-law to the late Benson and Peruce Amukowa of Emmuli Esiandumba. Brother to the late Donald, the late George, Jackson, Onyango, the late Arthur, Lydia and Alice. Brother-in-law to Samuel, Johnstone, the late Dishon and Norah. Father-in-law to Barack and Matt.

The body leaves Masaba Funeral Home on 19th November 2021 and burial will take place on 20th November 2021 at his home Kima Ebusundi, Bunyore Vihiga County.
