Death and Funeral Announcement of Nashon Kariuki Karanjah

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Nashon Kariuki Karanjah, formerly of Standard Chartered Bank.

Nashon was the son of the late Godfrey Karanja Mukuna & the late Phoebe Wanjiru Karanja of 01 Joro Orok, Nyairoko Scheme. He was a loving husband to Elsie Waruguru Karanjah; a devoted father to Dr. Edgar Kamau Karanjah & Rosemary Wairimu Kamau and Evelyne Wanjiru Karanja; and _a doting grandfather to Gichora Kariuki Mama. He was a son-in-law to the late Dickson Kamau & the late Miriam- Njeri Kamau of Kijabe. He was the brother of Washington Mukuna, Grace Wairimu Gakio, the late Johnson Murathe, Rose Wamuhu Kibe, late Gladys Wambui Kinyanjui and Simon Mungai Karanjah. He was a supportive grandfather, uncle and cousin, and an engaging friend to many.

Special thanks to Nashon’s doctor, Dr. J. Chakaya of Mater Hospital, and caregiver Fredrick Mulinge.

Family and friends are meeting at his residence daily at 5pm for prayers.

The funeral service will be held at 10am on Friday 6th March at Kenya Assemblies of God, South C. Interment will follow at Langata Cemetery.
