NICELIA MUMO KIBURI

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of Mrs. Nicelia Mumo Kiburi of Igoji East Ward, South Imenti Sub County, Meru County which occurred on 13th July 2022.

Daughter of the late Joel M’Muguone Mbae and the late Rael Kanyamu Mbae. Sister to the late Dr. James Kanyama, the late Elisheba Igoki, Jane Kamunde, Dr. Luka Riungu, the late Sylvia Kanyua Odago, the late Eliphas Miriti, Peter Mbaabu, Esther Kaari Muyuri, Damiano Kinyua and Beatrice Waititu.

Wife to the late Fredrick Kiburi M’Muguongo. Mother to Lillian Karimi Kimathi, Tom Mwenda Kiburi, Hellen Gatwiri Kiburi, Anne Mugure Kiburi-Kimathi and Dr. Joel Mugambi Kiburi. Mother-in-law to Cosmas Kimathi Kanampiu, Monica Mutuku and Nicholas Kimathi Marete.

Grandmother to Lynn Mwendwa, Derrick Mwenda, Lee Mwenda, Sammy Mawira, Nelly Mukami, Sasha Kagendo, Sudi Kiburi, Maureen Ntinyari,Alvin Mwenda and Nyla Wanja.
Aunty and cousin to many.

Family and friends are meeting for prayers at her home in Igoji daily and at St. Andrews’ P.C.E.A. Church on 18th and 19th July, 2022 at 5:30prn.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Teaching, Referral & Research Hospital (KUTRRH) Mortuary on Thursday 2 1 st July 2022 at 6:00am for a Funeral Mass at Igoji Catholic Church at 10:00AM and Burial at her home in KiriaViliage, Igoji, thereafter,

2nd Timothy 4:7-8 — I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith…, is in store for me the crown of righteousness.”
