It is with humble acceptance of God’ s will that we announce the promotion to glory of Pastor Jackson Muigai Mungai (The Original Apostolic Faith), that occurred on Tuesday 4th May, 2021, at his home in Runda/Githogoro Village.

Son of the late Jesse Mungai (Wangando) and the late Lucy Njoki. Son-in-law of the late James Kairu and Alice Njeri. Loving husband of Edith Muthoni. Father of Jesse Mungai (Kenya pipeline), James Muiruri, Anthony Waikwa (Gatunguru Secondary), Mercy Njoki, Fredrick Kamau (Booth Manufacturing), Alice Njeri (St Francis community hospital), Lilian Wanjiru and Simon Chege. Father-in-law of Alice Gikonyo, lucy Waithera, Elizabeth Wanja, Bonface, Margaret Jadenya, Stephen Thuo, & Edna Kioko.

Grandfather of Christine, Taylor, Mercy, Jackson mungai, Jaden, Wilson, Joseph, Jesse, Jasiel, Muthoni, Edith Waikwa, Maryann, Jared, Wayne, Jesse Mercy, Arenel, Crenel, Eustus, Jackson Wainaina, Milan and Muigai Chege and many more.

Brother of the late Margaret Wanjiku, Margaret Wanjiru, Janet Wambui, Loise Waitherero, and Marion Njambi. Brother in law of Diana Wairimu, Rose Wanjiku, the late Joyce Nyambura, Jane Wamaitha, Fredrick Kamau & Simon Mungai. In-law of the late Mr-and Mrs Samuel Gikonyo, Maryann Njoki, Mr and Mrs Benson Kanyingi , the late Mr Tom Atigal, Mrs Beatrice Aleyo, the late Eustus Thuo & Alice Wanpru. Uncle, Cousin, friend, mentor and a role model to many.

The cortege will leave Kenyatta University Funeral Home on Wednesday 12th May, 2021 at 0700hrs for funeral service and burial at his farm in North Kinagop, Ndunyu Njeru, Gitiri Village Nyandarua County.
