It is with deep sorrow and dismay that we announce the untimely demise of our dear sister, mum and Pst Violet Asande Khasiani. Pst Asande Khasiani was from Mukangu Village, Ivakale Sub Location, Kambiri Location, Shinyalu Sub-County In Kakamega County.

The late Pst was the beloved daughter of the late Mzee Jeremiah Khasiani from Rosterman/Imahalia village and the late Mama Theresah Musava from Imusali village.

She is mum to Chimwani Khasiani and a grandmother to Kadari and Johari Chimwani.

She is sister to the late Wangula Khasiani,Arthur David Khasiani, George Mmayi Khasiani, Professor Shanyisa Anota Khasiani, Emmah Indagwa Khasiani, the late Tom Achebi Khasiani, Reuben Wakukha Khasiani (USA), Joyce Mullabu (USA), Beatrice Shivetti Khasiani (USA) and Cafenol Kutoyi Khasiani (USA).

She is sister-in-law to Ben Ossome (USA),Anne Khasiani (USA), Christine Khasiani (USA), the late Jairus Engotse, the late Mullabu, the late Sarah Khasiani and Wanjiku Khasiani (USA). The late Asande was also an aunt to many nieces and nephews.

The late Asande was a senior staff at Family Support Institute (FASI) NGO, a non-governmental, nonprofit organizations. She was also a member of the Friends Church Ivakale Monthly Meeting.

The late Pst Violet Asande Khasiani’s cortege will leave Kakamega County General Hospital Mortuary on Friday 10th March 2023 and stay overnight at her home at Ivakale. She will be laid to rest on Saturday 11th March 2023 at her home at Ivakale Village, Kambiri Location, lsukha North Ward in Shinyalu sub-county, Kakamega County.
