REHEMA AKINYI MAENA

It is with deep sorrow and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Rehema Akinyi Maena of Knight Frank on 1 September, 2022 after a long battle with cancer.

She was the daughter to the late Asher Maena and the late Raha Maena; and step-daughter to the late Caroline Jura. Dear sister to Fred Tindi, Peter Maena, David Tumaini, Clifton Jura, Cynthia Awuor, Brian Otieno and Diana Maena. Sister-in-law to Roselyn and Susan. Aunt to Sarah, Lucy, Imani, Amani, Mark, Nicole, Alvin,Victor, Bahati and Natasha. She was also a friend, mentor and advisor to many far and wide.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at the family home in Ngara.

There will be a fundraiser to cater for pending bills and funeral expenses on Sunday 18th September, 2022 at the Nairobi Central SDA Church, Old Sanctuary from 2.30pm. Support can also be channeled through Mpesa; Pay-bill No.: 542542, Account No.: 734362.

There will be a Memorial service in her honor on Tuesday 20th September, at the International Christian Center, Nairobi West from 10:00am.

Burial will take place on Friday the 23rd of September, 2022 at their home in Kendu-bay Homa-bay County.
