Richard O. Mbeche passed on 12th September, 2021, at Saint Luke East Hospital, Lee’s Summit, Missouri, USA.

Richard was son to the late Ishmael Mbeche Ang’wech and Elizabeth Mbeche, was married to the late Jane Odera Mbeche and had eight children; Millicent, the late Christine, Rosemary, Catherine, Bernard, John, Ken and Betty. Father-in-law to; Michael Okeyo, Chrispine Ogut, Solomon Swango, Hellen Achieng’, Philgona Achieng’ and Hannah Ngwiri. He had 17 grandkids; Caroline, Ben, Ishmael, Vitus, Jane Tina, Veronica, Tom, Jane Christine, Ezra, Chris, Jane Lucy, Haula, Richard Ben (RB), Jane Lillian, Beth, Malaykah, Malkiyah. 4 great-grandkids. Richie,Alicia, Keisha and Jamaine.

Brother to the late Bernard Ogada, late Sophie, Judith, Zilpa and Margaret. Son-in-law to the late Benjamin, Esther and Hellen Osiga. Brother-in-law to Dina, Cloy, Rebecca, Late Julia, Betha, Margaret and the late Okolla. Longtime friend to the late Fred Hallier and Ruth Hallier and had other many cherished friends both in Kenya and the U.S.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily in Buruburu and Kisumu.
