ROMANA CHERUBET CHESIMET

It is with immense sense of loss and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of Romana Cherubet Chesimet, beloved wife to Richard Chesimet.

Daughter to the late Eric Kipserem Mutwo and Regina Chepsongok (Kap Mutwo) of Ollessos, Nandi County. Daughter in law to the late Araap Koskei Chesimet and Alice Tabrandich (Kapchesinzet).

Mother to Sarah Chelagat (Canada), Hillary Kipkenzoi, Patrick Kipkoech, Geoffrey Kipchirchir and Martin Kipkorir (Canada). Mother-in-law to Andrew Jackline, Lydia and Ida. Grandmother to Adam, Michael, Kyle Kiprop, Keith Kibet, Faith Chelimo, Stacy Chebet, Stephanie chepkosgei, Stalin Kiptoo and Ethan Kimutai.

Sister to Joseph Serem, Hellena Chumo, Emily Misoi, Tecla Serem, Paul Serem, Barnaba Serem, Benjamin Serem, Eunice Serem, Irene Serem, the late Sosten and Gilbert Serem.

Sister in law to David Kerich, Stephen Sing’oey, Edwin Kosgei, John Kerich, Sammy Chepkwony, Josphat Sigilai, Chesilim araap Chepkwony, John Chepkwony, Joseph Sigilai, Robert, Philip & Charles, Tabutany, Tablelei, Tabelkoi and the late: Kiplelei, Tabarno, Araap Sitienei, Tabletkoi and Bosco.

The cortege will leave The Lee Funeral Home on Monday, 30th January 2023 for a memorial requiem mass at Our Lady of Peace Catholic church, Nandi hills at 2:00p.m.

The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, 31st January, 2023 at the Nandi Bears Club at 9:00am followed by interment at the family’s Farm in Nandi Hills, Nandi County.
