RUTH WANJIKU WAIRUMBI

It is with acceptance of God’s will that we announce the eternal resting of our mother and family matriarch, Mrs. Ruth Wanjiku Wairumbi. She was the wife of the late Charles Wairumbi Mundia and daughter of the late Njendu wa Mwihoti and the late Miriam Mwibiri.

She was mother to Jennifer Nduta & Angus Collins, John & Rhoda Nyoro, Charles & Rose Njendu, the late Rebeccah Gathoni, Robert & Susan Ndungu. Grandmother to Catherine Wambaire, late Caroline Wanjiku & Isaac Muriithi, Marion Wangechi & Tony Kamau, Martin Chege, Angela Wangui, Charles & Joy Wairumbi, Wanjiku & Roy Ashoya, Bryan Wairumbi, Barbara Wanjiku, Kevin Gitonga, Roselinda Wambui, Njoki,Wanjiku and Wairumbi Ndung’u.

She was great grandmother to Edward Chege, Joy, Faith and Emmanuel, Irvine & Yvonne Kamau Lincoln, Nduta, Nyoro, Wairimu and Wanjiru and Gathoni Wairumbi.

She was sister to the late Joyce Mumbi Kirubi, Elizabeth Wanja Njendu, Leah Mweru Waigwa, Peninah Wairimu Njendu and the late Sylvester Ndungu Njendu. She was a sister-in-law to late Rebecca Gathoni, Laban Njenga, Joseph Mbote, John Kagimbi, Wilson Muraya, Joram Marekia, Joseph Kahura, James Kagimbi, Simon Wanjema among others.

The cortege leaves Lee Funeral Home on Thursday, 12th November, 2020 at 7.00am. Funeral service and interment will be held on the same day at her Kinangop home in Nandarasi, Ndunyu Njeru sub- location, Nyandarua County at 10:00am.
