It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Sammy Kipchirchir Rotich on the 9th of Juno, 2021, after a short illness.

Son of the late David Rotich and the late Ruth Rotich and the late Christina Rotich of Cheptiret Villago, Uasin Gishu County. Brother of Lawrence Yego, Isaiah Chelulei, Joshua Rotich, Hosea Yego and Isaac Birech. Husband of the late Beatrice Rotich and Priscilla Rotich. Father of Jeremy Kibichii, Patricia Jepkembol, Joyannette Jerobon and Jako Kiplagat. Parents’-in-law of the late George Yego and the late Lilian Yego; the late Philip Chirchir and Rose Chirchir. Other in-laws include of Ruth Yego, Salina Cholulol, Esther Yego, Penninah Yego, Mary Birech, Joseph Yego, Eliud Yego, Lydia Malyo, Mike Yego, Stella Saat, Lydia Cherono, Raymond Yogo, Winnie Yego, David Tanui, Monicah Korir, Mark Lelei, Julia Bitok, Naomi Melly, Dorcas Arusel, Damaris Busienei and Moses Tanui.
