Son of the late Robinson Mathagu and Joyce Mbeti. Beloved husband of Lucy Ndugu Ita. Father of Shem Kivuti, Jeff Kimanthi and Roy Muthomi. Brother of the late Priscilla Muthoni, David Njiru (Mwanika Primary School-Meru), Obadiah Mathagu (ICEALION). Step brother of the late Farida Nginya, Kepha Mike Mathagu, the late Liza Muthoni, Lucetta Mbandi, Stella Ndegi, Cate Mbuya, the late Flora Rwamba. Brother-in-law of Margaret Njiru (Kirie Health Center), Everlyne Musee (US Embassy), Liz Njuguna (CIC Insurance Group).

Family and friends are meeting at Norwich Union Towers from 6PM to 8PM from Mon to Wednesday.

The cortege leaves Gakwegori Funeral home Embu on 14th March at 8AM for funeral service and burial at his home in Kitharu Village, Muminji location, Mbeere North Sub County, Embu County.
