SAMUEL ONDALA OBIERO

It is with profound sadness and a heavy heart that we share with you the news that Samuel Ondala Obiero, passed away on Friday January 22, 2021 in Minnesota USA. He touched all our hearts beyond words, leaving a void that can be never filled.

Samuel was born on November 7th, 1949 in Nairobi to the late Jackson Bweya Ondala and the late Christine Damaris Omukuba of Butere constituency. Samuel has left behind his best friend, and wife Pauline Obiero. He was a proud father to Duncan, Raphael, Jacqueline, Linda, and Chris. He was a dedicated father-in-law to Joan and Joy and beloved grandfather to Natasha, Chloe, Irma, Arjen, Joshua, and Luke. He was a strong mentor to his 4 siblings. He was preceded in death by his brothers Ibrahim Mukhuyu, Jeremiah Obingo, and Peter Ondala and he is survived by his brother John Wanjero Bweya.

Samuel loved and enjoyed life but most of all he cherished his family. He prioritized peace above all else, built his life around community service, and treated everyone with kindness and humility. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
