A LEGACY OF INTEGRITY

It is with great sadness that the family of Samuel Waithaka announces his passing after a long illness on Tuesday, 5th January, 2021, at the age of 90 years.

Mr Waithaka was a former magistrate of the High Court where he served the judiciary for 40 years.

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Assumpta Grace Wanjiru.

Father to John Kuria, Anne Njango, Eugenia W. Waithaka (USA), Sue Wambui Muriuki – Divine Schools Africa, Caroline Wairimu Munyao (USA) and Francis Mbugua (SA).

Father in law to Gladys Kuria Postal Corporation of Kenya, Joe Muriuki – County Secretary Kirinyaga County, Raphael Munyao (USA), and Stephanie Njeri Waithaka (SA).
Grandfather to Anthony and Zev Mungai, Eva Muriuki – Equity Bank, Ted Muriuki (USA), Eric Muriuki (USA) and Ken Muriuki (UK), Ian Munyao (USA), Angela Smith (USA), Fred Munyao (USA), Christine Munyao (USA), Tandi Waithaka (SA), and Brian Waithaka (SA).

Family and Friends are meeting on Tuesday 12 and Wednesday 13th January 2021 in his farm in Ndumberi, Karunga, Kiambu County and daily in his residence in South B for prayers and Funeral arrangements.

The cortege will leave Lee Funeral Home on Friday, January 15th 2021 at 9am and proceed to St Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Kiambu, opposite Kiambu Golf course at 11.00a.m, and thereafter he will be laid to rest in his farm in Ndumberi, Karunga, Kiambu County.
