It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the demise of Samwel Miyungo Nyang’ate, after a long illness bravely borne.

Son of the late Reuben Nyang’ate and the late Rudia Nyaboke. Loving husband to Annah Kemunto. Father to Lydia Nyaboke, Josephine Kerubo, Rebecca Kemunto, Merciline Nyang’ara and Robert Kimaiga. Brother to the late Mwalimu Abel Ontomwa, Yunuke Kerubo, Jerusha Mokeira, Dr. Areba Nyang’ate, Mwalimu Stephen Machuka, Joyce Bochere, Mwalimu Peter Nyang’ate, the late Beatrice Moraa, Pamela, Nyaboke, lsaboke, Joshua, Egla, Nyang’ara and Ogega. Korera to the late Ernest Omwamba and the late Annah Mbera, the late Wilson Okero and Anastacia Nyakemu, the late Nackson, Okemwa and the late Yunuke Makori, the late Augustine Angwenyi and the late Alexina Nyambesa, Joshua Nyakundi and Sibia Nyakundi. Cousin of the Ogongos, Okenyes, Nyabichas, Makombes, Ometes, Obwoges, Kimaigas, Oseros, Korobas, Getanges, Moogis, LMainas and Amingas. Father-in-law to Patrick, George, Zachary, Ambrose and Rachel Boyani. Grandfather to Silvia, Stacy, Nelly, Brian, among others.

The cortege leaves Kisii Teaching and Referral Hospital Mortuary, on Tuesday 2nd March, 2021, for burial on Wednesday 3rd March, 2021, at his home in Kerongo Village, Ibeno Location, Nyaribari Chache – Kisii County.
