SARAH AMBASA MUHALYA

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of our beloved Sarah Ambasa Muhalya who passed away on 24th November 2020 in Nairobi after battling with diabetes and hypertension for a long time.

She was the loving wife of Harrison Mumasi Muhalya and mother to late Edwin Jack Lihalakha and Rinah Ayuma Muhalya; sister-in-law to Wycliffe Muhalya, Onesmas Mumasi, Livingstone Miheso, Rose, Hellen, Jescah and Dinah. She was daughter-in-law of the late Joseph Muhalya Lihalakha and the late Alice Muhalya. Beloved daughter of the late Rev. Jactone and late Mama Tabitha Olenja of Ebwali, Bunyore; sister to Charles, Adonijah, Winstone, Casper, Byrum, Esther and Timothy Olenjas, Asneth Khaimia, Velma Mudanyi, Noel Mbaruk and the late Rinah. In law to Mary Olenja. Auntie to Liz Muhalya, Alice Khendi, Diana Olenja, Linda Khakali, among others.

Sarah’s memorial service will be held at Buru Buru Community Centre Church of God on Monday 30th November 2020 at 4 pm.

The cortege will leave Chiromo Mortuary on Tuesday 1st December 2020 for her home at Shikunga village, Idakho location, Kakamega County, for burial on 2nd December 2020.

We are grateful to the Almighty God for giving us the privilege to share Sarah’s sterling life with us.
