SIMON KHAEMBA WANYONYI

It’s with humble acceptance of the will of God that we announce the untimely demise of Mr. Simon Khaemba Wanyonyi through a fatal road accident alongside his nephew, Agapetus Muse, at Maili Tisa, Uasin Gishu County, on the 8th of February, 2021.

He is the son of Mr. Benedict Wanyonyi Wekesa and Grace Nasambu (alias Apiwa). Husband of Janepher Nafuna (deceased), Grace Atsenga, Jennifer Namwaya, and Linet Kiveu. Father of Mercy, Peter, Mitchell, Erick, Blot, Jordan, Sheillah, Collins, Sheldon, Nimrod, Elvis, Lavenda, and Prince Khaemba. Grandfather of Valentine, David, Skyler, Valery, Scarlet, and Loviance. Brother of Juma (deceased), Benjamin, Wycliffe, Justus, Erick, Floriana, Violet, Jane, Ev,elyne, Jacklyne, Catherine, Marita, and Gladys Wanyonyi. Father-in-law of Edick, Evans, Milcah, and Carolyne. Uncle of among others, Moses, Lydia, Barclays, Castor, Samuel, Benard, Fidel, Davies, Daisy, Wafula, Ignatius, Waswa, Sela, and Whitney. Cousin of Martin, Wangitios, Namukosi, among others.

The family and friends meet daily for prayers and funeral arrangements at the late Simon’s three residences, one at Mayanja (along Bungoma-Chwele road) and two at Kimukung’i area (Next to Sitoma Primary).

The cortege leaves Lifecare Hospital Mortuary, Bungoma, at 2 PM on the 18th of February to his Mayanja home for a night vigil. At 9 AM on the 19th February, the cortege will proceed to his rural home at Kimukung’i, near Sitoma Primary for further funeral proceedings and his final rest on the 20th of February.
