SUSAN NYAGUTHII GITHIOMI

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of Mrs. Susan Nyaguthii Githiomi of PCEA Mathaithi Church, which occurred on 20th January 2023.

She was the loving wife to the late Elder Gadson Githiomi J. Mutahi.

Daughter to the late Simeon Njuguna Gathathu and Charity Wanjiru and daughter-in-law to the late Johana Mutahi and the late Mariamu Njuguini. Sister to Jane Gathoni Njuguna and sister-in-law to the late Jesse Wangeci and Milka Wanjiru, stepsister, aunt and cousin to many.

Mother to Charity Wanjiru Githiomi (USA), Mary Njoki Njuya (formerly of The Attorney General and Department of Justice), Elizabeth Wangeci Mungai, Jane Gathoni Githiomi Boke (Australia), John Mutahi Githiomi, guardian to Johana Mutahi family, and Faith and Simon of Australia.

Mother-in-law to Moses Njuya, Lt Col (Rtd) Tim Murega, Boke Landu Nkoy (Australia) and Emma Wanjiku Gikonyo Mutahi (Safaricom).

Grandmother to Kabugua & Lynn, Njoki & Mburu, Murega & Betty, Githiomi, Nyaguthii & Brian, Ivy, Muthoni, Neema, Tim, Joe, Annette and Watetu. Great-grandmother to Shiro (USA), Ryan, Megan, Wangari,Wangeci, Chloe, Bennet, Aliana, Macharia and Wanjiku.

Family and friends are meeting daily at her home in Mathaithi and at the All-Saints Cathedral Church Hall – Nairobi, on Monday, 23rd January 2023 and Tuesday 24th January 2023 from 5.30pm.

The cortege will leave Jamii Nursing Home, at 7.30am on 26th January 2023, for a church service at PCEA Mathaithi church, Karatina and thereafter burial at her home in Mathaithi, Karatina, Nyeri County.
