TIMOTHY NJIRU WA PAULO

It is with profound sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we, the family of Timothy Njiru wa Paulo, announce his demise at Coptic Hospital, Nairobi on Wednesday, 25th May, 2022.

Timothy was the adored son of the late Paul Gatema and the late Rhoda Nthereru of Kirigi, Ngandori, Embu County. Beloved husband of the late Mary Gacuki. Cherished father of the late Wanjiru, the late Catherine Njoki, Dennis & Margery Nthiga, and the late Cynthia Muthoni.

Doting grandfather of Jackline Mukami, Stella Wanda, Kenneth & Dorcas Kinyua, Joy Njeri & Kennedy Baraka, Timothy Njiru & Jane Njambi & the late Cynthia Muthoni;Timothy Njiru & Jackline Wangui (Australia), Maymansiir Njogu and Mary Rita Mukami; Winston & Mayfair Clements, Naomi Clements and Maryanne Clements (UK). Great-grandfather to Shiru, Kelvin, Waweru, Shanice, Kaiser, Jasmine,Travis, Dennis, Israel, Eli and Malaika.

He was a loving brother to the late Jonathan Mbogo, the late Arthur Njiru, Margaret Murungi Isaiah, Naomi Njura, the late Japhet Mugo, Alex Munyi, Peter Nyaga, Jane Mutito and George Kivuti. Son-in-law of the late Arthur Gicindano and the late Eunice Ciamburi.

Brother-in-law to the late Sarah Thaara, the late Lillian Gitiri, Dickson Kathambana and the late Patricia Kathambana, and Florence and Moses Muihia. Respected cousin, uncle and friend to many.

Friends and family are meeting daily from 4.00pm at his homestead in Kirigi.

The cortege will leave Gakwegori Funeral Home on Friday, 3rd June 2022. The funeral service will be at ACK St Andrews Kirigi church at 10.00am, followed by a burial at his home in Kirigi, Ngandori, Embu County.
