It is with profound sadness and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce thepromotion to glory of Veronica Muthoni Gikaara of PCEA Rukira Church, which occurred on Sunday 21/I 1/2021.

Beloved daughter of the late Simon Kahuthia and the late Leah Wanja. Loving wife of George Gikaara. Devoted mother of Victor Mwangi, Grace Wagaki, Sarah Waniiru,Anthony Macharia and Henry Gachara. Sister of Lawrence Kamau, John Ndirangu, Hellen Wambui Kabutha, Silvester Muriu, Peter Wahome, Martha Wangui, Francis Muchai, and Lucy Wangechi. A cousin, auntie, doting grandmother, and friend to many.

Family and friends are meeting daily at her home in Kagongo Village, Rukira Othaya and at her son’s residence in Ruai – Nairobi, from 5:00pm, for prayers and funeral arrangements.

The cortege leaves Nyeri Funeral home (Outspan), on Tuesday 30/11/2021, followed by a funeral service thereafter at her home in Kagongo Village, Rukira Sub-location, Mumwe Location Othaya Sub-county, in Nyeri County. Funeral rites shall comply with the MoH COVID- 19 guidelines.
