ZIPPORAH WAMBOGO KARIUKI

6th February 1932 – 30th April 2022

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Zipporah Wambogo Kariuki on 30th April, 2022. She was the daughter of the late Johana Munyutu and the late Eunice Johana.

Loving wife of the late Joseph Kariuki Mutabi and daughter-in-law of the late Paul Mutabi and the late Ciumwari Mutabi.

Mother of the late Eunice Runji Ndwiga, the late Esbon Njiru Kariuki, Mary Mwaniki, Kefa Muriithi, Wylie Munyi, Eustace Njeru (Charlie), Nancy Kariuki, Everlyn Njoroge and Grace Ngithi Hassanin.

Mother-in-law of James Ndwiga, Francis Mwaniki, Sophie Muriithi, Catherine Munyi, Rachel Njeru, Henry Asibiko, Bosco Njoroge, and Amro Hassanin.

Sister of the late Junius Mbogo, the late Abija Murage, the late Nerea Kanake, the late Loise Kiini, the late Jonathan Nyaga, the late Grace Nyaga, Marjorie Njeru, and Dorothy Njeru.

She was a grandmother, great grandmother, auntie, and friend of many.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University, Teaching, Referral & Research Hospital Mortuary (KUTRRH) on 10th May, 2022 at 7.30am for funeral service at the ACK St. Paul Cathedral, Embu, and thereafter burial at Gatunduri, Gaturi Location, Embu County.

Funeral arrangements are being held daily at Canaan Guest House in Embu Town from 5:00pm.
