ELDER WALTON BUNDE OKONG’O

1930 – 2022

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Elder Walton Bunde Okon’go of Sota-Ahango Village, Winam Sub-location, West Kadem Location, Nyatike Sub County Migori County. Which occurred on 14th January, 2022.

He was the son of Mzee Jonathan Okong’o Bunde and Mama lsdorah Oluoch (both deceased). He was the husband to Mama Stella Agola Bunde and father to; Otieno Bunde, Arthur Bunde, Willis Bunde, Pamela Osoo, Lorna Ogallo, Olgah Magambo, Mauren Achieng, Johnson Nyauke, the late Nick Agonda, Elvis will, Jerim Okuku, Sarah Akoth.

Brother of the late Musa Odhiambo, Johana Jaoko, Thomas Ngala, the late Salome Rachuonyo, the late Adonijah Okuku and Greta Amolo. Father-in-law to Elsa Otieno, Pamela Omondi, Jael Okoth, Jane Nyauke, Sharon Owili, Cynthia Okuku among others. First cousin of Okelo, Joseph, Samson, Ariri (all deceased), Ogada, Lameck, Jared, Ogur among others.

He was son-in-law of Pastor. Nickanor Agonda, Mama Beldine Awuor (both deceased) and Mama Rael Agonda. Brother-in-law to Dr. Sam Ochola Agonda, Dan Ojijo among others. His sisters-in-law are Siprina, Rhoda, Hellen, and the late Florence. Other sisters-in-law are Agnes, Hannah, Zipora, Rhoda (all the late) and Lenser.

The cortege will leave Rosewood Funeral Home, Rongo on 10th February, 2022 for a burial ceremony the next day 11th February, 2022, at his homestead situated in Sota-Ahango Village, Winam Sub-location, West Kadem Location, Nyatike Sub County.
