DAVID ONSARE NYANTIKA

17th Nov. 1960 – 1st Feb. 2022

We are saddened to announce the death of our beloved Dad David Onsare Nyantika formerly of the Ministry of Water and Sanitation which occurred on 1st February 2022.

Son to the late Mzee Judson Miyogo Nyantika and Mama Paulina Bochaberi Nyantika. He was also a son to Mama Nyang’ara and Mama Zipporah. Husband to Joyce Nyang’ara Nyantika and father to Claudia Onsare (TUK), Adrian Onsare (Kenya Power), Breitner Nyantika CMA), Businessman Micah Nyantika. Father-in-law to Venic Obuchi.

Son-in-law to the late Mzee Japheth Ongwenyi and Mama Sara Ongwenyi. Brother-in-law to the Ongwenyis. Korera to Elizabeth Obuchi. Brother to the late Andrew, Mary, Rebecca, Charles, Tabitha, Nyantika, Agnes, Naftal, Vivian, Wifred, Meshack, Robina, William, Eunice, Alfred, James, Eunice, Jeniffer and Moses.

He was an uncle and cousin to many as well as a friend and mentor to many.

Friends and family are meeting daily at his Riang’ombenene home, Kisii.

The memorial service will be held at Lavington SDA Church on Wednesday, 9th February 2022 at 10.00am.

The cortege leaves Kisii Teaching and Referral Hospital for the funeral service and al at his home in Riang’ombenene village, Nyaguta on Friday, 11th February 2022
