AGNES KHAMISI- MLATI

We celebrate the ascension to glory of Agnes Khamisi-Mlati, who passed on, in the early morning of Monday 23/11/2020 after having a general feeling of uneasiness. Agnes was a passionate critical care nurse by profession and worked with Philips East Africa Ltd.

She is survived by her husband Joseph Mzera Mlati. Her sons Arnold Mzera Mlati of International Hotel and Tourism Institute (IHTI), Allan Chome Mlati and Alex Mwabili Mlati both of Sunshine Secondary School. She was the daughter to John Kahindi Khamisi (Rtd Senior SGT, Kenya Air Force) and Lilian Bendera Khamisi (C.E.O JOCHAD clinic). A sister to Ngala Patrick (Ngala Memorial secondary school), Maria Khamisi (E.C.U. worldwide Kenya Ltd), the late Joyce Chadi, Kadii Khamisi (Nurse Anesthetist-MTRH Eldoret) and Stephen Mumba Khamisi (Advanced life support trainer).

She was the daughter-in-law to the late Willard Mzera (Warrent officer I: Kenya Army) and Sarah Mzera Makoji of Shigaro, Wundanyi, Taita Taveta county. She was sister-in-law to Josiah Mwauda, Lydia Samba, Paul Mwambui, Mercy Wachia, Ruth Mzera and Valentine Mutuku. Aunt to Kadzoyo, Kadzo, Pendo, Nicole, Baraka, Imani, Nathan, Sarah, Makonji, Shalom, Samantha, Elvis, Carren, Sarah Mwambui, Samuel, Winnie, Willard, Blessing, Allan, Sarah Mugo and Kevin.

Meetings are being held every evening from 5pm at Metro Villa estate next to Buruburu Girls High school.

There will be a requiem mass on the 29/11/2020 at A.C.K. St James Buruburu from 2pm.

The funeral will be held on Wednesday, 2nd December 2020 in Wundanyi, Talta Taveta County. The State’s Protocol on Covid-19 regulations will be strictly adhered to.
