AGNES NYAGUTHII KATANA

It is with great sorrow and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of Agnes Nyaguthii Katana on 5th October 2021.

She was a loving wife of the late Francis Mwalungo Katana, cherished mother to Andrew Mwamuye, Martha Idza, Irene Mwihaki, Winnie Wanjiru and Grace Mbodze. She was mother- in-law to Boyd Okello, Sammy Nyamai, and Dennis Adipo.

She was the daughter to the late Solomon Mbugua Nathan and the late Irene Mwihaki Mbugua. She was daughter in-law to the late ldza Katana Karogo and the late Nyenyo Katana Karogo. Sister to James Ngugi, Salome Wanjiru Mwangi, Joyce Wambui Mungai, Racheal Muthoni, Fred Mwathi, David Kamau, Peter Kinyanjui, Alice Nyamathwe, Catherine Murugi and the late Justin Macharia.

She was grandmother to Elsa Nyamai, Avidan Kael, Tehillah Okello, David Jabali, And Daniel Jilani. She was an Aunty, cousin, niece and sister-in-law to many.

Prayers and funeral arrangements are being held at her residence in Kadzandani, Bamburi, Mombasa every evening 5-8.30pm and in Nairobi at Holy Family Basilica on Thursday 14th and Friday 15th at 5- 7.30pm.
