It’s with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Mrs.Agnes Wairimu Thairu on Thursday 26th September, 2021, Former Matron at Coast General Hospital, Mombasa.

Daughter of the late William Mwangi Kung’u and the late Virginia Njeri Mwangi. Daughter-In-law of the late Gidraph Kihuria Gathanga and the late Hannah Nduta Kihuria. Beloved wife of Leonard Njung’e Thairu.

Mother of Paul Thairu Njung’e, Ann Nduta Njung’e and Edwin Mwangi Njung’e. Mother-in-law of Ruth Wambui Thairu. Dotting grandmother of Brian Njung’e Thairu, Stephanie Wairimu Thairu, Nicole Njeri Thairu, Renee Nduta Thairu.

A loving sister of the late Nancy Muthoni Muchoki, Mary Wamaitha Ng’ang’a, Silpha Wanjiru Njoroge, Stephen Kigera Mwangi, Gibson Ngugi Mwangi, the late Anne Wanjiku Mwangi, Gertrude Wambugua Kiwara.

Sister-in-law of the late Henry Karanja Thairu, Grace Gathoni Thairu, the late Esther Wanjiku Mungai, Lucy Wambui Kinyanjui, the late Mbugua Thairu, Mercy Wanjiru Thairu, Obadiah Mungai Thairu, Winnie Ruguru Thairu, Jane Njambi Muiru. A cousin, aunt and friend of many.

Burial and funeral service will be held on 4th September, 2021 at Karura Kanyungu.
