It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Atanas Munyambu Ngovi formerly of Ministry of Agriculture which occurred on 23.9.2021.

Loving husband of Lucia Mueke Munyambu. Son of the late Paul Ngovi and late Veronica Syokau. Brother to the late Nzioka Ngovi, the late Kimeu Ngovi, Kaluki Muia, the late Joel Katiku, Felister Mukonyo,Wavinya Soli and Josephat Mutua. Father to Mr. Francis Munyambu (Assistant Inspector General (AIG) of Police (Rtd) and Machakos Senatorial Aspirant), Theresia Kimatu of Mukunike AIC Primary school, Joseph Wambua (Deputy OCS Kilgoris), Late Michael Mweu Munyambu, Margaret Katunge of Emali, Magdalene Ndila of Changamwe and Raphael Kioko (OCS Juja).

Father-in-law to Dorothy Musembi, Patrick Kimatu, Pauline Joseph, Glorious Mweu of Lang’ata, Benjamin Muasya (KEBS) and Ruth Ndinda of Ongata Rongai. Doting grandfather to Alex, Florence (Nyeri), Selestine Mutheu of Muthangari, Veronica (KPLC) Ken Wambua of Machakos County, Maureen, Scola, Martin, Kyalo, Fidelis Musyoki (Vigilance), Muthiani, Jacinta, Justus (Machakos), Jane, Jackie, Winniefred, Denis, Judith, Kevin, Stacey, Steve, Sammy, Susan, June, Manu and Timna. Great grandfather to Nduta, Nesta, Prince, Linet, Teksha, Sharleen, Wayne, Brian, Lewis, Job, Linus and Leon.

Friends and relatives are meeting at their Kangundo home daily for funeral arrangements.

The cortege leaves Montezuma Monalisa Funeral Home on Saturday 2nd Oct, 2021 at 0800Hrs to their family home in Mukunike Village, Kawethei, Kangundo followed by funeral service and burial thereafter.
