The death has occurred of Babu Daniel Kiptarus Arap Kurgat (Mukamba) of Kanetik Farm, Uasin Gishu County.

Beloved husband of the late Eglah Jepkirong’ Kurgat. Brother of the late Lazaro, the late Rael, the late Christopher, the late Kobot Kipsabul, late Kipsang and Senge Chelel. Step bother of Arap Kona, Philomena and Simion of Chepterit, Nandi. Father of John Tarus, Beatrice Kemboi, Hellen Kurgat, the late Norah Kurgat, Violah Tabut, Disrael Keitany, Luke Tarus, the late Joyce Kipchoge, Kimutai A Keitany and Joseph Keitany. Father-in-law of Stephen Kemboi (Maraba), Christine Tarus, Bethuel Tabut, Christine Keitany, Irene Tarus, Joseph Kipchoge, Caroline Keitany and Norah Keitany. Babu was blessed with several grand children who include Elsie, Eric, Janet, Tom, Eva, Valentine, Miriam, Moses, Joyce, Charlen, Alvin, among many others. Great grandfather of many.

The cortege leaves Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital mortuary on 19th March for a service at AIC Gimnyigei – Kanetik and overnight stay at his residence in Kanetik Farm.

Funeral service will be conducted on Friday 20th at the graveside, starting at 11.00 am.
