The family of Magambo Ochumba is saddened by the untimely death of Benard Otieno Magambo of Kisegi School, Gwassi-North Location, Homa-Bay County which occurred on 11/09/2020 at Nightingale Hospital Milimani Kisumu.

Son to Mzee Raphael Magambo Ochumba and Mama Consolata Omogo (Both deceased). Husband to Phoebe Auma Magambo and the late Carolyne Magambo. Father to Alice Magambo (USA), Anne Magambo (Kenya National Library Service), Seth Magambo (USA), Emma Magambo (USA), Winnie Magambo, Richard Magambo and Sam Magambo (USA). Brother to Nathaniel Arogo, Donald Magambo, Tobias Magambo, late Adhiambo Magambo, late Adongo Magambo, late Siprina Magambo, late Asenath, Sibia, Miriam and Rebecca. Cousin to Owuor Ominde, Joel, Sharon, and George.

Son-in-law to Mzee Patroba Mala and Mama Maritha Mala (Both deceased) and late Mzee Wilson Okonjo and late Judith Okonjo. Brother-in-law to Reuben Mala, Turfosa Owala, Jared Mala, Chief Erick Mala, Duke, Zablon, Samwel among others. Father in-law to Allen, Tony, Dennis, the late Thomas and Whitney. Sisters-in-law are Dorothy Ondigo, Grace Magambo and Olga Magambo. In-laws are; Mary O’Riley (Gambia), Michael, Yvette, Syprose and Anyumba. Grandchildren are Mikayla, M’chelle, Chantelle, Zion, Violet, Myra, Nigel and Owen. Uncle to Quinter, Faith, Consolata, Laureen, Victor, Winnie and Melisa.

The cortege will leave Nightingale Hospital Mortuary, Milimani, Kisumu on 24/9/2020. Burial will take place on 25/9/2020 at his Oruba home, Migori town, Migori County.
