BERNARD KANYI WANGAI

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the sudden death of retired teacher Bernard Kanyi Wangai of Narok Town, which occurred on Saturday 29th August 2020. He was the former head teacher of Masikonde, Olopito and Emaiyan Primary Schools, in Narok County. He was also a retired KNUT BEC Member, Narok Branch.

Son of the late Samuel Wangai Ngumo and late Rahab Nyambura Wangai (Leshau Podo). He was a brother to Bud (Mweiga), Cyrus (Ndaragwa), James, David, Joseph, John, Zipporah, Stephen & Peter. He was a son in law to the late Gilbert Wamai and the late Alice Wanjiru (Nyeri). He was Brother in law to Waweru, Njoroge, Mburu and Aggie. Husband to retired teacher Irene Karura Kanyi (Ilmashariani primary). Father to Kevin Wamai (Nairobi), Rahab Nyambura, Daniel Wangai and Sheila Wanjiru (Narok town). Grandfather to Jason Kariuki, Aiden Kanyi and Wendo Karura. He was also a cousin and uncle to many.

Cortege leaves Narok County Referral Hospital Mortuary on Friday 4th September 2020 at 5:30 a.m. for funeral service and burial on the same day at Kahembe Village, Leshao Pondo, Nyandarua County.

We loved you but God loved you more. May God rest his soul in eternal peace.
