The Worldwide Gospel Church of Kenya announces the promotion to glory of Bishop Dr. George Odoyo Owiti which occurred on Saturday 29.05.2021 after a long illness. A member of the Founding Fathers Council of the Worldwide Gospel Church of Kenya.

Husband to the late Rose Odoyo and Pastor Risper Odoyo. Father to Pastor Everlyne Otieno, Caleb Ochieng, Christopher Okoth of Coca Cola and the late Tobias Odhiambo. Son to the late Owiti Ondiek, Marsela Simba, Pesila Achola. Brother to Peter Osalo, Carren Opiyo and the late Daniel Opiyo and the late Yunes and Milcah.

Brother-in-law to Florence, Prisca, Peninah, Janvier Ouko of Netherlands, Milcah Owing, Alice Onyango, Roseline Nyakinda and Moses Nyakinda. Uncle to Rev. Robert Opiyo, Rev. David, Rector Wyclif, Jared, Moses, Eliud, Fred, Miriam, Sara, Elga, Eunice, Judy and Emmaculate. Father-in-law to to Julican, Jesca, Diana, Nancy, Beatrice, Seline, Belinda, Brenda and Beatrice to Samson.

Grandfather to Samson, Peter, Elizabeth, George, George Odhiambo, Marsela, Rose, Debra, Rose Madaraka, Christine, Brenda Nelson and Tiffany. Son-in-law to Bella Nyakinda and the late Hannah Gawo and Gawo Asugo.

The cortege leaves Star Hospital Mortuary Kisumu on 12.06.2021, burial the same day at Kano Kochogo Location, Kochogo South Sublocation, Kagola Village, Nm yowaro School led by the Presiding Bishop of Worldwide Gospel Church of Kenya Bishop Dr. Eliud Karanja assisted by Bishop Dr. Charles Agak of Worldwide Gospel Church of Kenya Central Nyanza Region.
