BISHOP EMERITUS GIDEON GRISHON IRERI

It is with profound sorrow and much love that we announce the promotion to glory of The Right Reverend Bishop Emeritus Gideon Grishon Ireri, the first Bishop of ACK Mbeere Diocese, on Thursday, the 28th January, 2021, after a long illness bravely borne.

Husband to Mary Mutitu Ireri. Father to Lois Mercy Muthoni Ireri, Job Grishon Ngari Ireri and Faith Racheal Wawira Ireri.

Grandfather to Granville Gideon Kathigati Ireri.

Son of the late Mzee Grishon Ngari Muguike and the late Tabitha Rweru.

Brother to Agnes Mbuya Murage, Eunice Muthoni Nthiga, Joseph Mbugi, Benjamin Nyagah, Michael Nyagah, David Mucungu and Barnabas Ngari. Brother in law to the late John Murage, the late Joseph Nthiga, Flora Mbugl, Jane Nyagah, Beatrice Nyagah,Alice Muchungu, Rhodah Ngari, Heshbon Kiurademimah Mutuuri, Daniel Njuki and Faith Njuki. He was Uncle to many nieces and nephews, and a grandfather to many grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are meeting daily at his Muraru home for prayers and funeral arrangements.

The Cortege leaves ACK Mt. Kenya Hospital, Kerugoya on Monday, 8th February, 2021 at 09.00 am, followed by a funeral Church service at ACK Church of the Good Shepherd, Muchunguri at 10:30 am, and thereafter burial will follow at St. Thomas Retreat and Conference Centre, Kamiriru.
