We announce the passing on of Bishop Francis Okete Mwakha, which occurred on the 13th September, 2022.

Son to late James Okete Swaka and the late Abisagi Makokha. Husband to Everlyne Jennifer Owano Mwakha.

Father to Josephine Namayi, Advocate John Swaka, the late Jonas Okello, James Okete, Paul Olendo and Daniel Bwakali.

Brother to Professor Shiroya Okete, Evangelist Javan Nandwa Okete, the late Joseph Omumia, Risper Andati, the late Dorine Bhakhoya, Agneta Amunga, Esther Omuronji and the late Jennifer Nyona.

Grandfather to Francis, Bridge, Haddasah, Gabrielle, Adriel and Ariella.

Memorial service will be held on 28th September, 2022 at CITAM – Valley Road, Macbride Hall from 1:30pm to 4:00pm.

Further church service will be at ACK St. James Emahene on the 30th September, 2022. Burial will be on Saturday, the 1st October, 2022 in Kwhisero Sub-location, Kakamega County.
