We regret to announce the death of Catherine Wairimu Muriuki of Kerugoya, which occurred on 1st December, 2020 at 9.00am.

Loving wife of Elder Ephraim Muriuki Guandaru. Mother of Simon Guandaru Muriuki, Paul Wanderi Muriuki and Naomi Muthoni Muriuki. Daughter of the late Richard Wanderi Gichohi & the late Shelmith Gathoni Wanderi. Daughter in law of the late Moses Guandaru Gathang’a, the late Elizabeth Wanjiku Guandaru &Tabitha Wakonyu Guandaru. Sister of Lucy Wangu Mutitu, the late Ephraim Gichohi, Beatrice Wanjiku, Charles Muhoro, the late Robert Miano, Edward Kinyua, Dr.Anne Njoki Nderitu, Nicholas Kanyi and John Muriithi.

Sister-in-law of the late James Muriithi Guandaru, Peterson Kamuru Guandaru, Rosalind Wambui Kimeu, the late Grace Gathoni, Ann Njoki Kaipoi, Milcah Wambui Mwangi, Mary Waceke Nyaga, Caroline Njoki Kuria, Agnes Wanjira Tom, Jesse Kamau Guandaru. Aunt and cousin to many. Mother-in-law of Fibi Njeri Guandaru and Rogoi Wamba. Grandmother of Patience Wairimu Guandaru & Jasmine Ruguru Guandaru.

Friends and relatives are meeting at her residence for prayers & funeral arrangements.

The cortege leaves Outspan Nyeri Funeral Home, on Friday 11th December, 2020 at 7.00am, for the service and burial at their farm in Sweetwaters, Nanyuki.
